We are excited to announce that we are now carrying bikes from the State Bicycle Co. State has been in the fixie market since 2009 making quality steel commuters. Recently they added their Offroad Division, which includes two of our favorite things: cyclocross bikes and fat bikes. The best thing is the price is incredibly low. Already have a mountain bike? No problem, adding a fat bike for those snowy, muddy, or just-wanna-have-fun days isn’t going to break the bank. Here’s a couple of our favorites so far:

The Thunderbird Cyclocross makes us wish it was the beginning of cx season again. Shaun and I are already talking about jumping in single-speed Wild West CX series races next year just so we can ride this new bike. It is a compatible with a rear derailleur hanger if you change your mind on the single speed thing. With disc breaks and a sweet paint scheme you’re all-set to race. The Thunderbird is also available in a frame only option so you can build it to your own specs.

The Megalith fat bike looks awesome! Large 100mm rims ensure that we’ll be staying high up on the snow all winter, and provide plenty of traction on loose ground the rest of the year. How can you go wrong with a bottle opener built onto the seat tube? The Megalith has been added to our Fat Bike Central where we also have HED Big Deal wheels that can take off 1 to 2 pounds from each of your current wheels.
