Looking Toward Summer in Montana

Early spring is the time that we start to look forward to our summer trips in Montana. The riding weather here is starting to get good, but we are looking forward to long days ahead and longer miles on our bikes. This year we are beyond stoked to offer three different trips in our very big, very beautiful backyard.

Tour de Montana — This is an oldie but goodie! 2015 Marks the third year we’ll be offering this trip and it is a perennial favorite. Spectacular riding, off bike attractions like fly-fishing and cowboy poetry, and an optional float trip down the Blackfoot river make this loop that starts and ends in Missoula a truly authentic Montana experience. Camping with hotel option.

Glacier LoopWe here at the Cycling House believe there is no better way to explore the beautiful places in the world than by bicycle. This fall tour has lower mileage, leaving us plenty of time to check out all that Glacier Park has to offer. If we finish riding early we’ll spend some time exploring the Park by foot, either hiking or trail running. This trip starts and ends in Whitefish, Montana, and has indoor accommodations.

Glacier to Yellowstone – Our first year running this amazing ride, and even the NY Times is excited about it! This trip is a point to point that starts in Whitefish and ends in West Yellowstone. The route allows us the chance to ride some of the most scenic roads in Western Montana. This trip has the option for a hundred mile day, and is a camping trip.
