September 22-26 in Missoula, Montana
#1 – Fall Riding at Its Finest
Fall riding in Montana is different than any location in the country. You will find native larch trees (one of the only conifers that changes colors,) a dirt surface that has been packed down from a full season of conditions, and perfect weather that is 45-70 degrees – it doesn’t get any better than that!
#2 – Our Backyard
Montana gravel riding has not gone mainstream yet and the Cycling House staff are some of the first riders to explore rides in Montana. We’ve been riding these gravel routes for the last 10 years. Now is the time to show our favorite gravel routes to a select group of riders. The trip will be based 30 miles away from our headquarters in Missoula, Montana.
#3 – E Bar L Ranch
The E Bar L Ranch will provide accommodations, food, and off the bike activities. Nightly softball games are the norm. The E Bar L provides all their guests a unique Montana experience. The cabins have bathrooms and electricity. The dining hall is a short walk from the cabins and we share meals there family style.
#4 – Cyclocross Prep
We’ve always wanted to put a cyclocross preparation trip together and the Montana Gravel Tour is a great opportunity to get some base miles in for your cross season. The Cycling House Staff will offer optional clinics and drills in the afternoons to help you hone your skills.
#5 – Gravel is So Hot Right Now
Gravel grinding and riding dirt roads is trending in cycling. Missoula and much of Montana has a unique infrastructure that lends itself perfectly to miles and miles of gravel riding. Be one of the first to pedal this gravel and dirt.
