WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT THE CYCLING HOUSE?
Being around a group of people that care about riding, the outdoors, and each other. Everybody brings a different perspective to the table, but you can always find common ground when it comes to bikes, fitness, good food, and good times.
Corral Trail-Armstrong Pass-Christmas Valley loop, South Lake Tahoe, CA. Flowy, open, and loose sections through high mountain meadows that turn into technical rocky sections at lower elevations. Plus pizza and beer at Bob Dog pizza in Meyers at the bottom. Ride in the late afternoon/through sunset for a truly epic experience.
ONE OF THE BEST DAY'S YOU'VE EVER HAD ON THE BIKE
Mill Valley to Marshall and back down the coast, up to the top of Mt. Tam, and back down to Mill Valley on dirt. Hours in the saddle with good friends, sunshine, and what seemed like tailwinds the whole way!
Growing up in Mill Valley, CA, mountain biking was simply the best way to get outside. After discovering the magic of bike racing in high school, I continued to race cross country mountain bikes (and some road races too) while pursuing a degree in Geology at UC Berkeley. I moved to Missoula after graduation, and have been riding, fishing, and skiing at every opportunity. While I could easily stay in Missoula forever, I’m hoping to go back to grad school for geology in the coming fall. My non-bike interests include fly fishing, anything and everything about rocks, and running as infrequently as possible.
