I’m originally from the rolling hills of southern Virginia. About twenty years ago, I cut my cycling teeth on the roots and rocks of the Blue Ridge mountain single track and have been captivated by fat tires and dirt trails since. After high school, I packed up and headed west to explore the roads and single track of the Rocky Mountains and never looked back while living in Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Colorado and now Montana. Mountain and road biking, backcountry skiing, and trail running are what keep me balanced in life and some of my best memories have been swooping down single track or deep in a telemark turn with a grin plastered on my face. They have also kept me focused in the classroom where I am an elementary school teacher just outside of Missoula.

My first season at the Cycling House was 2016 and the best part of working here has been the opportunity to be in a dynamic environment. Whether I am guiding, setting up tents, sharing a cold beer around a campfire or chopping veggies for dinner, I enjoy working for TCH and providing a great time for our riders. The Tour De Montana is my favorite trip because it encompasses all of the things I like to do in the summer; ride bikes, sleep under the stars, eat great food, discover more of Montana and splash around is some cold mountain water. And it is always fun to throw in a friendly game of nails or the TCH push up challenge for some entertainment! I am looking forward to the upcoming season and excited for the adventure.
