More about Bridger Gaernter:
“Growing up in Whitefish, Montana with the endless trails and open spaces to ride my bike is a pretty sweet life. I am Bridger Gaertner and I love riding and racing my bike. I also have had the good fortune to witness several pro level mountain bike races despite living in a remote area of the states. I have raced at the Missoula XC and watched riders such as Sammy Schultz and Todd Wells go toe to toe with the top riders in North America. Watching that level of talent is incredibly inspiring. I also have raced a number of road races including the Northwest Junior Stage race which attracts the the top junior riders in the country and Canada. In addition I have done many races locally and have experienced some success. Each race has motivated me to dig a little deeper and see how much further I can take this. Having the opportunity to spend a week with the Cycling House athletes and Todd Wells, and learning from the best of the best is truly a dream come true. As a 16 year old sophomore at Whitefish High School I am pretty psyched to take a break from school and grow my skills and capabilities as a mountain biker at the Todd Wells Mountain Biking Camp.” – Bridger
More about Gabriel Shipley:
“I am a 15 year old from Polson, Montana who began racing competitively at the age of 13. I was fortunate enough to race for the Cycling House in 2017 which was my first full season of cyclocross racing and was crowned the Wildwest Series Overall Champion for the 15-18 year old category. 2017 was my biggest race season yet and I competed at the Amateur Road National Championships in Louisville, KY and Valley of the Sun Stage Race in Phoenix, AZ as well as many regional races. I’ve been selected to ride for VC Cascade Junior Development Team in Portland. I have even greater expectations for the 2018 season starting off with a training camp in California in March immediately following the San Dimas Stage Race. The next week I will join TCH in Tucson for their winter gravel training camp to help me prepare for my road race season which will culminate with me racing Nationals in Maryland in July 2018. I’m honored and thankful to be a part of the TCH Family.” – Gabriel
