5. Wiggins and Froome’s PROtotype front wheel is actually just a HED H3.
4. Froome will never win a Tour de France unless he stays with Team Sky. Remember that like Wiggins, Froome too benefited from the super Sky. They kept him out of danger and led him out perfectly for all the mountain stages. Froome will likely get a contract with a team desperate for a GC contender. Astana, Katusha, and even Greenedge would all be interested, but the organization is not there. Also, Contador will be back next year.
3. There are Great Tour Stories and then there are Actual Great Tour Riders. Let’s give some examples. Johnny Hoogerland = Great Tour Story, Thomas Voeckler in 2004 = Great Tour Story, Thomas Voeckler in 2011 and 12 = Actual Great Tour Riders

4. Class bike riders almost always win out of breakaways. They don’t mess about that much, and they play to their strengths. Millar, Sanchez, Fredrigo, Voeckler all taking wins from small groups of the best pros in the world. When the odds are so small of winning how come these rolleurs continue to win? It’s not all about strength.
5. Saw a quote from Vaughters about cleaning up cycling after the Frank Schleck news. He’s just happy the attention is off him for a bit :)
