Montana Gravel – Summer Camp
Ready for an unforgettable Montana gravel cycling adventure with fun summer-camp vibes? Join us in Seeley Lake, just an hour from downtown Missoula, for a week of backcountry riding, rustic cabins, and lakeside relaxation. With over 20 years of experience exploring Big Sky Country, The Cycling House will guide you on our favorite routes in this gravel cycling paradise.
Our home base is historic Camp Paxson, a former Boy Scout camp set right on the shores of Seeley Lake. Guests stay in cozy, rustic cabins—bring your own sleeping bag or use the high-quality Big Agnes gear provided by The Cycling House, including deluxe sleeping pads, pillows, and linens. Cabins can be shared with friends or booked as singles, and camper van or tent options are available upon request. Bathrooms with showers are located just a short walk away and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, sunscreen, and fresh towels.
In true Cycling House style, our private chef team will fuel each day with hearty breakfasts, energy-packed lunches, and chef-prepared dinners—all served in the beautiful main lodge overlooking Seeley Lake.
On the bike, you’ll ride scenic double-track dirt roads, descend fun mountain passes, and tackle challenging climbs, including sections of the world-famous Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Expect quiet roads, dramatic mountain scenery, and some of the best gravel riding in the Rockies.
After the ride, relax lakeside with a swim, paddle a canoe, or simply unwind under Montana’s big skies. It’s the perfect mix of epic gravel cycling and laid-back summer-camp atmosphere.
