Celeste Callahan and her team Colorado Flash won the overall womens division in the Race Across America (RAAM) in June!

Celeste, who was also the oldest competitor, broke her collar bone on the first night of the race.  But, with some codeine and a fierce will to compete, she never gave up.  Skipping not even one pull she lead her team to victory in the 3000 mile race in just over 8 days.   Her team raised nearly $35,000 for youth clubs in Colorado. One of the first things Celeste did when she finished this epic race was contact The Cycling House and thanked them for the support with training and support over the years.

Brummer Sets Record at Senior Olympics


Frank Brummer earned 4 gold medals and broke 2 state records at the Illinois Senior Olympics cycling competition in Chatham, IL.  He is now qualified to compete in the 2009 National Senior Games in California.  Frank took first place and shattered ISO records in the 5k and 10k time trials, he also won the 20k and 40k road races.  Nice work Frank!
