We spend a lot of time in the saddle here at The Cycling House, but that’s not the only thing we’re into.  There has been a lot of buzz around the office for the Rut 50k/12k this weekend in Bozeman and most of our crew is headed down that way to race.  Reports trickling back from the guys already there promise a cold, snowy, epic race, but like all Cycling House trips, there will be great food and fun following the work.  The 50k will be streaming live (and hopefully the 12k) Saturday morning at Ultra Sports Live where you can join me watching the neon foam trucker hats of the TCH crew.  Look for a few of the TCH crew to be near the front of the pack.  Brendan Halpin and Matt Shryock (2013 runner-up) should be near the top of the men’s field, while Anya Gue  we hope will be near the top of the women’s.  Here’s a great race preview from the Montana Trail Crew. Whatever you are up to this weekend, we hope you can get out and play in the mountains as well.
