Our New Office in Missoula

We’ve officially moved into a new building in Missoula! Earlier this year, we decided to move into an historic building that we could fix up and truly make our own, including a spectacular TCH mural. Below are a few pictures of the project, which we just wrapped up.

We moved to the Northside of Missoula. This building was built in the early 1900s. See where we’re at on a map here.

Remodel and Floor Work

Before moving in, we took a few weeks to pull out old carpet, take down a few walls and mount new lights. It was a fun project as you can see from these pictures.

The carpet and floorboards had been in the building for years and covered up beautiful maple wood floors. We decided to pull up the carpet and restore the original floors.
The floors were a pretty big project, and we learned a lot in the process. This is the part of our job where we pulled out old, rotten pieces and replaced them with healthy sections of maple.
If these floors could talk! We sanded down the original wood flooring and were very happy with the outcome.
We cut windows into the south-facing walls to let natural light into our office.

Keeping our friends close

MTB Missoula
Ben Horan, executive director of MTB Missoula.

We invited two organizations we love to be part of the new move. MTB Missoula, a mountain bike and trail advocacy non-profit in Montana, is just next door. Also, when Cory Kaufman isn’t guiding in Tucson or Italy, he’s running Competitive Timing, his own events timing business, right here in the building with us. It’s motivating to work alongside people and organizations that share our values and passion for being outside and riding bikes!

Legendary Missoula artist and TCH friend Sophia Kircos painted this wall mural for us.
