Our 2015 Tour de Montana is on the calendar and I couldn’t be more excited about our 3rd year of running this trip. The tour starts on July 13th and ends on July 19th, 2015. Basically we’re doing a 400 mile loop through rural Western Montana that starts and finishes in my hometown of Missoula, MT . We’ll ride 5 mountain passes, cross through expansive valleys, fly fish, swim in mountain creeks and enjoy some great food around a camp fire every night. Most all of the Cycling House staff on this trip have lived in Missoula or grew up nearby so it’s truly our back yard.
The Tour de Montana is unique for us because it’s a point to point tour where we camp out every night in a different location on the route. We provide the tents and can also provide camping gear to those that need it but most importantly our guests don’t need to schlep all that gear every day. We portage everything and have freshly cooked food at the finish so riders can focus on riding, enjoy the sights and sipping a cold Big Sky Brewing beer at the end of a day in the saddle.
