Missoula Women’s Team Wins 24 Hour MTB National Championships!

Racing for Kent Brothers Automotive, Missoula, MT mountain bikers, Laurel Douglas, Anya Wechsler (TCH Staffer), Heidi Rentz (always a Missoulian at heart, Moab, UT resident on paper) and team captain Heidi Gaskill won the 4 person team competition in Moab, UT last weekend to take the 24 hour mountain bike National Championships!

Missoula girls on the top.

Kent Brothers Racing was represented by one women’s 4 person team and one men’s 4 person team. The solid men’s team consisting of some of Missoula’s toughest riders: Kiefer Hahn, Doug Shryock, Adam Jensen and Toby Meierbachtol.  The Cycling House was a secondary sponsor so the crew sported our new Cycling House Shorts.

The whole crew found out that a solid and reliable staff is an integral part of 24 hour racing. Bryce Daviess was lead mechanic, Matt Shryock was the head chef/NASA and Owen Gue mainly in charge of the lighting systems.

It turned out to be a full-time job for the staff. Here is the mechanic Bryce working on a bike at 1 am.
Matt S. never missed a beat. His Arithmatic was spot on and the food was amazing. Here he is chefing it up at 3am.
