As we roll into 2025, I find myself reflecting on an incredible milestone: The Cycling House is celebrating its 20th anniversary! If you had told me 20 years ago that we’d be here today, I wouldn’t have believed it. What started as a way to ride bikes and avoid a “real job” has grown into something far more meaningful than I could have ever imagined.
Back in the beginning, we were just a small operation in Tucson, bringing people together to ride bikes, share meals, and have fun. But over time, it became clear that The Cycling House was about so much more. We started building a community. Guests began returning year after year, friendships blossomed, and we found ourselves creating something truly special—a shared experience that goes beyond the bike.
As our guest base grew, so did our team. We looked to places we wanted to explore, and we made them part of our journey. From the mountains of Montana to the cobblestone climbs of Europe, we chased adventure. And here we are, 20 years later, still chasing it.
Through all the changes and growth, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to delivering an unforgettable experience for every guest. It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly, and it’s something we work day and night to uphold.
Looking back, I think about all the bike rides, savoring good food, and sharing so many laughs along the way. I’m endlessly grateful for the amazing TCH team—they’re the heart and soul of what we do. I just returned from our annual staff retreat in Tucson, where we reflected on what makes The Cycling House special and set goals for the future. This team inspires me daily, and I feel so lucky to work alongside them.
As we celebrate 20 years, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey—our guests, our team, and the cycling community that has supported us. I can’t wait to see what’s ahead as we roll into the next chapter. And you can bet, when we hit that next corner, we’ll nail the apex!
