We’d like to give you an update on our upcoming California cycling vacation. Santa Barbara’s Wine country in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley has been one of our favorite destinations to ride since we started hosting guests here over a decade ago. Our itinerary finds us riding bikes through green rolling hillsides, wine vineyards, and up epic climbs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, all under the California sunshine.
Exciting News about our Accommodations
For our returning guests, we have something new for you! We are excited to announce our new home base is Santa Ynez, a small town full of boutique shops, wine-tasting rooms, cafes, and restaurants. These establishments are all within walking distance of the award-winning ForFriends Inn, an inviting 8-room and 6-bungalow hotel which will host us for the week. After a day of riding our bikes to the beach, sit back and relax with a glass of wine on their beautiful property or take a stroll into town.
The Santa Ynez Valley and Meals
The Santa Ynez Valley is both a thriving wine country destination and a culinary hot spot. Throughout your cycling vacation, you’ll be treated to nourishing pre-ride breakfasts at ForFriends Inn, and our talented guides will prepare delicious post-ride picnic lunches. In the afternoon, enjoy wine tasting from local vineyards. Dinners include homemade meals from The Cycling House chef and meals at our favorite local restaurants.

Private Cycling Vacations
Want to get away with friends, family, or co-workers? We can accommodate private groups, typically 7 or more, and plan custom itineraries in California outside of the above dates. We have hosted birthday parties, reunions, corporate events, and continuing education classes for medical professionals. Enjoy our cycling routes or work with us to incorporate other activities like surfing, golf, and hiking.
