Happy summer from all of us here at The Cycling House! The summer solstice is in the rearview mirror and 2026 is flying by. We wanted to take a moment to share where this year has taken us so far – both on and off the bike.
An Italian Legacy
In June, we wrapped up our 14th spring season in Italy! Our trips in Tuscany and the Dolomites have become central to who we are as a company, and we are grateful for our long-standing relationships with our Italian guides and hosts. If you’ve yet to experience the Italian magic, we have a few open spots in Tuscany and the Dolomites this fall. Here’s to another 14 years of high mountains, rolling hills, and tiramisu … andiamo!
Back to France
This spring, we returned to Provence for the first time since 2016. Guests spent several days exploring Provence’s quiet roads and hilltop towns before tackling the region’s “Giant”: the legendary Mt. Ventoux. We have a few spots left on our fall trip.

Back at home, we’ve been busy.
Gravel Goodness in Montana
Our gravel camps are up and running again at the Cliff Ranch and Camp Paxson. With our early season trips complete, we’re looking forward to our road trips in Glacier and Yellowstone, but the gravel always calls us back. Come along and see for yourself why we love Montana gravel so much—last minute rooms and cabins are available on our Luxury Ranch gravel trip and Montana Summer Camp gravel trip this summer.

Outside of working at TCH, our staff members have exciting updates!
A New Addition to the Family
This spring, Chef Liz and Chef Nathan welcomed baby Rowan into the world! Rowan already has a taste of the chef life by accompanying his parents in the kitchen while they cook up the next big meal. He observed Liz and Nathan make 500+ tacos in the TCH food trailer for The Dusty Bandita gravel race!
The Dusty Bandita
Just outside of Missoula, the Dusty Bandita is our favorite all-women’s gravel race. This June, TCH had a strong showing of guests, alumni, guides, and former guides racing and cheering all over the course. This race ties into our all-women’s gravel trip and eleven TCH guests from across the country participated in the Dusty!

Montana-Grown Pasta
Chef Devon’s new venture, Third Street Pasta, is open for business! We are stoked to see Devon’s carefully crafted noodles already in high demand here in Missoula. You can find Devon and Third Street Pasta at the Missoula Farmer’s Market and Grist Bakery!
New Grad
Double threat guide and chef, Elliote, earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and English from Middlebury College this winter! We are lucky to have her (and her desserts) on as a full-time guide this year.
Farewell, Aimee!
We said “see ya later” to our guide, Aimee, who worked her last trip at the Cliff Ranch before moving on to pursue a nursing degree at Montana State University. We have a feeling she won’t be able to stay away forever!

It’s time to lean into the summer sun and adventures. We can’t wait for what’s to come!
If you’d like to join us on any of our remaining 2026 trips, check out our availability or give us a call!
