New this year we have brought on two of our guides, Cory Kaufman and Victoria Phares, to help us continue to grow and provide you with more trip dates and new destinations! Ultimately, this means more Cycling House vacations in your future – with more miles, more meals together, and even better support!
Cory Kaufman – Director of Marketing and Sales
We’re thrilled to let y’all know that Cory Kaufman has come on to work at TCH full-time. If you’ve done a TCH trip over the past few years, there is a good chance Cory was out there riding, driving, supporting or teaching the group how to line dance. The transition to having him full-time at TCH is something we’re very excited about. Cory is going to work closely with Owen, Brendan and Victoria at our office in Missoula and head up our marketing and sales. Basically, he’s going to help us tell the TCH story and work with our guests to find the best trip for them. He’ll also guide and lead a few trips a year in California, Italy and Arizona, so he has a busy year planned!
Cory is looking forward to getting back to California in April. “I love our California trips. In the spring, the Santa Ynez Valley is usually super green and the wild flowers are popping. Being landlocked in Montana, one of my favorite rides is when we get to ride to the beach and that we get to finish our days tasting wine from the local vineyards.”
Victoria D. Phares – Director of Guest Support
You may know Victoria as one of our all-star guides who guided 10 trips in 2019. She has guided on both our Tucson and Glacier to Yellowstone trips. We are excited to have Victoria come on board and work with Owen, Brendan and Cory in the office as our Director of Guest Support. You will hear a lot from her once you sign up for one of our trips, and she will make sure we have all the information that’s needed before you touch down. Victoria is also a world traveler originally from Argentina and has volunteered with World Bicycle Relief in Zambia. Victoria is always eager to share stories from her cycling adventures and advocacy work!
Victoria loves our Montana Glacier to Yellowstone and Yellowstone to Glacier Trips. “I love being surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, valleys, lakes and rivers – the crisp air and blue sky. Climbing big mountain passes like Going-to-the-Sun Road and Beartooth Pass, arriving at the top and having a grand view of the beautiful world around us. Sweeping descents to a mountain lake and all the wildlife along the way. It always puts a big smile on my face.”
